the painted candle started flickering a flame of blue
i couldn't breathe under weight of the heavy air as it pulled me in

It appeared out of nowhere, warning me in three voices of what's to come
suffering yet purely gentle
the blood represents one's soul
is that you, God?
or perhaps i just want to believe you're Him
such a bizarre form...
i woke up
is that a friend or a foe?
i didn't want to know
unnaturally tall, pale and emotionless
no hair, no arms, just long legs
then It jumped out and bit the tall figure's leg
as it fell i ran outside
i woke up

that's just a vague description of a dream i had, i always have such bizarre dreams
but this one stuck with me
